I love ginger snaps, though have never actually attempted to make them. Every now and again I see a box in the supermarket, by the brand that I love (and can never remember the name) and of course, every time I see them I will purchase them.
I try to eat good healthy food, and think like a lot of us that home made is probably the best option, even for food that is not the most healthiest option - i.e. cookies.
So when I ran into this A Full Bellies Recepie for Ginger Snaps I couldn’t resist and had to give them a go. Yesterday was the perfect day to do so, being a raining, and cold Saturday, and with a house full of kids stuck indoors, the calming effect of the smells and aromas rising from the kitchen made the day a whole lot better. Plus, I can’t think of a any better cookie for a winter day, than a nice spicy ginger snap.
