I was talking to a gentleman at a local wine shop here where I live about a series of wine tastings I'm getting organized for Italian wines and he said there is an Italian organization (Ministry? In New York?) that can be very helpful by providing maps of wine regions, booklets, etc. He didn't know exactly the organization or how I could contact them but he did know that something like that was available. I think this would be an excellent addition to my series of wine tastings I will be having. Can anyone help me with this? I searched the internet, but perhaps I was using the wrong keywords.

Thanks

Try Paternoimports.com Paterno is a well known importer of a number of Italian wines and you may be able to get some info from their web site.
