I'm starting to plan my Labor Day party menu for Labor Day weekend and wanted to get some suggestions. I'm thinking perhaps simple steaks (maybe Wagyu?) with foie gras, french green beans touched with garlic. What will you be serving?

Hi Lynneh, welcome to the forum I hope you will like it here.

Since I'm not located in the U.S. I won't be celebrating Labour Day, but if I would, I would serve

taboulleh made of 1 cup bulgur (cracked wheat), 2 cups cubed Cheddar cheese, 3 tomatoes, chopped, and 1/3 cup Italian salad dressing.

A nice entrecote steak with creme fraiche and spicy peppersauce.

Baked crunchy potatoes with dille.

and an exotic fruitsalad as dessert.
