Le Cache/Breezaire question

I want to order a cabinet-cellar this week and so far, the Le Cache 400 with the Breezaire 1060 seems to offer the best quality for the most reasonable price. My biggest concern is the noise, as we're planning to put this in the living room. Does anyone have one of these units (or something similar)? How well does it work and how loud is it? Also, anyone have any consumer experience with AMWE? How was their service?

Its pretty loud really. Its definitely louder than my refrigerator.

I've got a Liebherr wine cellar, and in our previous house we had it in the dining room. It was certainly noisier than I was expecting, and noisier than our fridge. The compressor sometimes stops with quite a loud clunk. I would definitely advise against putting it in the living room. However, I've no actual experience of the two models you mention. I've been told that the technology used by such units is inevitably noisier than a fridge.

Thanks for the replies. My follow-up question is this. Does anyone have a cabinet-type cellar that fits 350-500 bottles AND is quiet enough to put in a living room without it being irritating?
