Make Your Failures Work For You :-)

Failure is the greatest source of learning, probably 1 out of every 5 things I do are outright failures. Of the last 4, 2 have great potential and the last 2 just rock.

Things that rock are a function of intellectual faith and sometimes just plain luck.
Luck however is not a component of success, it’s a component of opportunity.
We just have to continue to push ahead even in the face of failure…..

the only thing worse than failing is to have never tried in the first place.

This is a quote from a post by Shola Olunloyo the chef and author of Studio Kitchen Blog

As a person who spends a lot of my time on the failures - both in committing them and in dwelling upon them, this could be 2009’s mantra for moving on through the other four creations toward the 2 that really rock!

In all honesty though, the kitchen is one of the only places in life that I can take my failures in stride and look at them as building blocks to the next success’s.

I think that this year will be about bringing that thru to the rest of my life.
