I decided to write a food blog, with a squint to French cuisine but not only, in order to tickle my taste buds and  widen my pallet in the kitchen… Making eating a more rounded experience for my family and myself.

Food is about so much more than just food - its about timing, comfort, presentation, color ,nutrition and taste and most of all it is about creativity.

As my first post, it Seemed appropriate to start from the end, the desert… and more can one wish for oneself on the first day of fall than a good BBQ Meal, with an even better BBQed desert…

How simple and wonderful is this: Chocolate Stuffed BBQed Bannanas!

I can just imagine the extasy of my kids, and the complete enjoyment of the chocolate feind adults eating these wonderfuly simple deserts.

The method to this madness is as follows: Slit firm but ripe bannana down the middle - while still in peel, in an orderly fashion add alternatly cubes of milk chocolate and bitter chocolate, While sipping your wine after the excellent BBQed meal you have just enjoyed, place the bannanna’s on the BBQ Till the chocolate has melted and did in…

I would add crushed walnuts for added texture.

This great desert, to be tried this weekend, I got on Andrea’s Blog (On) Glorious Food and Wine
