Homemade Spaghetti Bolognese I

So what is your take on spaghetti Bolognese?
This is one of the standard meals for my family, and always a gold medal winner.I use ground beef , crushed tomato’s, onions, bay leaves, garlic sometimes fresh oregano and/or basil and some salt, I cook it for at least 90 minutes on a slow simmer and it is always taste full and appreciated by both the big people and the little ones. It goes really well with red wine and of course Parmesan cheese.

I just read a post on Crash test Kitchen, about how my version of bolognese is fake (ok - not my personal version, but the tomato’ee versions) and that the real one has very little tomato in it, chicken or beef stock, and of all things milk…
pop over there and read their post.

It seemed to me that after their experiment they are going to revert to the good old tommato bolognese, and I am going to stick to mine, although I might experiment with using wine instead of water to add extra liquid.
