I would appreciate your comments on a wine club that would focus on Spanish wines. I know there is a lot of debate about the quality of wines from a wine club but let's assume you could gain access to good Spanish wines at a good price, month after month. Say you could get either one white and one red, or 2 reds, with the price range around $35. Would this be something you'd be interested in signing up for? I am working on an idea and would appreciate your feedback. Thank you!

I am part of wine club that does Pacific Northwest Wine's and have been very happy with the selections myself. The biggest question would be can you get access to good spanish wines and is there a wine club out there already doing this?? If so, just make sure you can steal some customers somehow.

Thanks for your comment in the wine group on my idea for a Spanish wine club. To respond - I don't THINK it's being done, but if it is, someone please let me know.

As for your Pacific NW club, what do you pay per month? Do you pay shipping or is it included in cost? Thanks for your reply - I hope to get this thing off the ground sometime soon!

well it is about 35$ a month and that includes the shipping. When I get the receipt, it shows each wine and then about a 3 or 4$ charge for shipping. Since I get one white and one red I don't see a small charge for shipping out of line. The part of the club I like is when you get the shipment I also get a write up about the winery, winemaker, the wine and even a recommended dish that goes well with the wine.

hope that helps.

Check that out! The wine website link I posted earlier also has an option for cigars too!
